Martyn joined Deloitte in 2000 and was responsible for establishing our Corporate Finance Advisory group in the South West and Wales, which he leads. During his career he has completed over 50 transactions, many of which have been among the highest profile in the region. Although specialising in ‘middle market’ deal-making first and foremost, Martyn maintains a keen interest in Facilities/Property Management, Retail, Transport, Financial Services, Agri-business and Construction/House Building, in addition to finding innovative funding and exit solutions for clients within the context of an uncertain economic environment.
Martyn has won either Dealmaker or Corporate Finance Adviser of the Year in the regional corporate finance awards every year since their inception in 2004. In 2009 Martyn won the Corporate Financier of the Year award by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
