Challenging conventional perceptions of the Royal Opera House and Deloitte
World's first Twitter opera
Annual 3-day arts festival
Deloitte and the Royal Opera House came together in 2008 with an ambitious, shared goal. We wanted to engage more people in creativity and new ideas through ground-breaking contemporary arts and by doing so break through inaccurate and out-of-date perceptions of our two organisations. Out of our shared appetite to push the boundaries came Deloitte Ignite - now a multiple award winning festival and a hotly anticipated date in the London arts calendar.
We are extremely proud to have worked with the Royal Opera House on Deloitte Ignite, and we haven’t let the idea stand still. It has developed and grown to become a major platform for emerging and contemporary artists. Our partnership works because we are both globally recognised for quality and depth, and because we share a deep commitment to enabling exceptional performance and seeking new ideas, creativity and diversity of thinking. Through Deloitte Ignite, we continue to bring in new talent and new audiences, including Deloitte’s own clients and people, to one of the world’s most important and innovative centres for the performing arts.
