Brighter Future Workshops is a multi-award winning charity, unique social enterprise which has re-cycled over 6,500 pieces of mobility equipment that was destined for landfill. When recycled it is sold back at an affordable price to needy disabled people in community e.g. wheelchairs, electric mobility scooters, giving them back their independence enabling them to function within the local community. We have provided over 3,000 day training places to young disabled people thrown on life’s scrapheap. Trainees work alongside technicians recycling the equipment.
Highlights of support to date:
- High level business model review discussed at planning workshop with Board members
- Support with communications and KPI collection
"This is an exciting time for Brighter Future we are really thrilled to have been nominated as a Deloitte Pioneer. We believe in what we do and can see the difference that we make in the lives of disabled people, both through our recycling business and our training scheme. This new partnership with Deloitte will generate maximum publicity enabling Brighter Future to reach even more disable people.” - Peter Cousins MBE (Chairman)
