The Deloitte Employability Skills Course |
Deloitte in partnership with Pearson have developed a “train the trainer” course for lecturers and teachers interested in delivering employability skills. The two day training will allow those who attend to reflect on and develop their professional practice.
The course is compulsory for colleges or schools wishing to deliver the programme and there is an upfront fee to participate. This training fee can be reclaimed based on the number of learners registered in the 2013/14 academic year.

Impact on trainers
In 2009 a survey of delegates that took part in the Deloitte Train the Trainer course showed that:
- 89% rated the course and its contribution to their continuing professional development as “good” or “excellent”.
- 99% of teachers involved in the initiative rate the opportunity to network and share best practice and ideas with practitioners across the UK as “good” or “excellent”.
