Deloitte promotes 63 new partners as it continues to invest for future
1 June 2012
Deloitte, the business advisory firm, has announced the promotion of 63 new partners, 32 of whom become full equity partners in the firm.
The promotions take effect from 1 June, bringing the total number of partners in the firm to 991. In addition to the newly promoted partners, Deloitte hired 43 direct entry partners from competitors and industry over the past 12 months.
David Sproul, chief executive and senior partner of Deloitte, commented: “I am delighted to welcome 63 new partners to the senior leadership of our firm in the UK and Switzerland. They represent an important investment in future success – for our clients, as well as for our own firm.
“Our new partners add further breadth and depth to Deloitte’s services and, in many cases they are accelerating the scope of advisory support we offer our clients.
“As business leaders look to their own role in rebuilding economic prosperity across the country, investing in new talent is a signal of confidence, and critical to finding new opportunity in an uncertain economic environment.”
Deloitte has promoted new partners across all four of its key business areas – audit, tax, consulting and corporate finance – and in offices throughout the UK and in Switzerland.
