Vladimír Vaněk serves as Industry leader of Energy & Resources in Central Europe and is based in Prague. Mr. Vaněk joined Deloitte in 1998 as a director specialising in business performance improvement strategies for clients in the utilities sector and two years later was made a partner in our Consulting function and also assumed responsibility for leadership of the Central European Energy Trading and Risk Management service line. In 2005 Mr. Vaněk became Industry Leader for Energy & Resources in the Czech and Slovak Republics and in 2006 became Industry Leader for Energy & Resources for all of Central Europe. As an engagement partner Vladimír Vaněk has led many projects for our key clients in the utility sector e.g. CEZ group, Market operator for Electricity, a.s., E on, Essent, Prague Power Exchange, PRE, ENEL and many others.
Pavel Dědek

Pavel Dědek is a Director in the Financial Advisory Department of Deloitte Central Europe. He joined Deloitte in August 2007 and is responsible for the execution of M&A advisory projects in the Energy & Resources sector in Central Europe (an Economics degree and 10 years experience as an investment banker, primarily in M&A advisory in the CE region. Since 1997 he has executed or was involved in more than 20 successful projects in utilities, banking, printing, machinery and other sectors. Since 2004, Pavel has been focusing on the Energy & Recourses sector, working fulltime on energy transactions throughout the CE region, including cross border transactions in Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Poland and Romania.

Václav Loubek is a Partner in the Audit Department of Deloitte Czech Republic. Mr. Loubek has more than 17 years of experience in accounting, audit and corporate finance and is a certified tax advisor and a certified auditor in the Czech Republic. In his capacity as an audit partner he assumes or assumed overall responsibility for the audits of a number of major companies, specifically Czech Railways, Pražská Energetika, Skoda Holding, Teplárny Brno, Barrandov Studio, Tiscali, SŽDC, OHL ZS Brno, CD Cargo, FOXCONN CZ, MORAVIA STEEL Group, etc.
