Josef Kotrba

Office Managing Partner

Josef Kotrba has extensive experience of Czech business: prior to joining Deloitte, he served as a Board Member and Deputy CEO of Česká Spořitelna with responsibility for investment banking. He has participated in or led many of the major transactions that have taken place in the Czech Republic in recent years including a number of sell-side advisory projects for large and medium national companies as well as buy-side advisory projects for large national and multinational companies.

Martin Tesař

Audit & Advisory Partner in Charge

Martin Tesař is a UK Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) and a Czech statutory licensed auditor and holds the professional qualification in IFRS (DipIFR). He is a member of the Czech Chamber of Auditors and a Czech statutory licensed auditor. Martin Tesař has worked in the Deloitte office in Washington D.C. and other Deloitte Central Europe offices across the region. He has gained significant experience in performing financial audits and advisory projects focusing on internal controls, IFRS and US GAAP for companies operating in the technology, media and telecommunications sector ("TMT"), trading companies, service providers and manufacturing companies.

Tomas Seidl

Tax Partner in Charge

Tomas Seidl has worked in the Czech Republic since 1992 and joined Deloitte in 1997. In June 2000, Tomas Seidl became the Partner in Charge of Tax for the Czech Practice. He speaks five languages (English, Czech, Dutch, French and German). He is also a member of the Dutch Chamber of Tax Advisors and holds an economics degree from Erasmus University in Rotterdam (The Netherlands).

Financial Advisory Partner in Charge for the Czech-Slovak cluster

Garret is a seasoned M&A practitioner and has worked in Czech Republic and Central Europe since 1992. He joined Deloitte in 2002. Garret leads our Financial Advisory business in Czech Republic and leads our M&A Transaction Services (Due Diligence) practice across Central Europe. Garret also leads the Deloitte Central Europe focus on Private Equity. Garret is a Chartered Accountant and a graduate of University College Dublin with an economics degree.

Vanek Vladimir

Vladimír Vaněk

Consulting and Enterprise Risk Services Partner in Charge

Vladimír Vaněk is the Partner in Charge of the Consulting and Enterprise Risk Services functions of Deloitte in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Given his specialisation in the energy sector, he is currently the lead partner for this industry at Deloitte Central Europe which covers 17 states in Central Europe. Vladimír has more than 27 years of experience in the area of evaluating corporate processes including IT and process design for IS/IT management, and selecting and implementing information applications intended to support corporate processes via SW applications. These applications relate predominantly to areas where corporate risks arise in great volume, such as applications for work on financial and commodity markets.
