In September 1990 The Czech national practice of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu opened its offices in Prague . Starting as an auditing section of five people, the firm has enjoyed enormous growth. By 1995 the Prague office had grown to 9 partners and 260 staff.
It was the Czech practice that has introduced, not only to the country itself, but also to the whole Central European region, the notion of forensic services that specialise in effective fraud investigation and fraud prevention. Today, Deloitte Czech Republic employs over 600 people in 3 offices, thus becoming the largest practice within Deloitte in Central Europe.
