Deloitte Cyprus becomes the official sponsor of the Cyprus Champion and third place World Champion high jumper Kyriacos Ioannou |
Nicosia, 4 March 2008 - During a press conference held in the Nicosia Olympic Tower, Deloitte Cyprus announced the exclusive sponsorship of the Cyprus Champion and third place World Champion high jumper Kyriacos Ioannou.
In his speech Deloitte Cyprus CEO, Mr. Christis M. Christoforou, highlighted that our firm's decision to sponsor Kyriacos Ioannou as well as a number of athletic developing programs undertaken by the Cyprus Amateur Athletic Association is a reflection of our firm's philosophy to reward the excellence, matching Deloitte's vision to become the Standard of Excellence.
Mr. Christoforou said: "We will provide any possible support and help to Kyriacos during this year and the years to follow, especially during his preparations time for this summer's Olympic games in Beijing". "I take this opportunity to thank both the Cyprus Amateur Athletic Association and the athlete himself for giving us the opportunity to proceed with this well deserved for the athlete sponsorship because we really believe in Kyriacos' abilities and exceptional potential" he added.
