The Ministry of Justice (“MOJ”) have recently confirmed that the UK Bribery Act will come into effect on July 1 2011. In addition, the MOJ have also released guidelines for commercial orgaisaitons that has raised the bar for standard procedures and controls such organisations should have in order to protect themselves from being associated with bribery.
