China Real Estate Investment Handbook 2012 edition
We are pleased to release the China Real Estate Investment Handbook 2012 edition on 13 March 2012. When it was rolling off the printer, it has been one year since a series of government measures were introduced in the spring of 2011 to cool the overheated real estate market and rein in inflation. In order to help you and our clients to examine the opportunities arising from the changes in the China real estate industry as it is entering the next phase of development, we has extended the focus to explore new solutions that are reflected in some details throughout this Handbook.
This 2012 edition summarises the updates on taxation and accounting treatments for real estate investment, to keep you informed of key changes, risks and opportunities that you should be aware of. We have also included some new insights that should be of interest to you. They are:
- Drivers impacting the China real estate market in 2012
- Alternative financing channels including property trusts, property funds, bonds and offshore RMB REITs
- Property development process in China
- Potential development of the hospitality and senior housing sectors
