With the prosperous development of e-commerce and mobile Internet and the rapid growth of potential demand, mobile payment has got more and more attention globally and shown a robust growth momentum. According to the data from Gartner, mobile payment users are expected to reach 212 million by the end of 2012, and 384 million by 2015. 

Mobile payment in China is still in its infancy with uncertainty in policies, undeveloped technologies and limited application scenarios. The conclusion is based on a Deloitte survey of more than 100 Chinese organizations and interviews with over 20 business executives and managers within the mobile payment industrial chain.
