We invite you to join our seminar, "Preventing and Managing Risks that can Devastate your Reputation", to be held on Thursday, 17 October 2013. Our global and local partners, together with a guest partner from global communications firm, Kreab & Gavin Anderson, will discuss how we can tackle issues relating to crisis management and reputation risk.

In this competitive market, being trusted by customers and other stakeholders is the foundation on which organizations' reputations are carefully built and nurtured over the long-term. However, it only takes a single crisis event to destroy a company's reputation and cause irrecoverable damage. Then consider the turbulence and volatility created by rapid technological change, globalization, financial crises, natural disasters, social responsibility issues, geo-political and security threats, all now exacerbated by social media, and it is easier to understand why the threat to reputation is potentially lethal. This new business environment means reputation risk needs to be addressed more proactively. Many financial services firms are perceived to have advanced risk management programs and do have large-scale communications functions. However, they still need to invest in an integrated and structured approach to managing reputation risk.

At this seminar, partners from Deloitte and Kreab & Gavin Anderson, will share their experiences and real-life cases relating to crisis and reputation management, and will suggest how companies can improve their practices in this critical area that has a key impact on business performance.
