Law firms doing business in Hong Kong and China face industry-specific tax and regulatory issues.  It is always good to know relevant practices and understand how others in the market deal with these issues.  In order to provide an experience sharing platform, we will periodically host roundtable events for management and finance personnel from law firms.  Each event will be facilitated by Deloitte tax professionals from Hong Kong and China who are experienced in advising law firms from a firm and individual tax perspective.

In view of past participation and positive feedback from our previous Law Firm Tax Roundtables, we will be hosting our next Law Firm Tax Roundtable on 8 November, 2013.

Topics to be discussed in this Roundtable:

  • Implementation Rules for China VAT Exemption for Cross-Border Services (Bulletin 52)
  • Other China Tax Updates

The forum will act as a means to facilitate the open exchange of experiences between participants, so there will be an opportunity for other tax-related issues to be raised.

We hope you will be able to attend and look forward to your participation. We will serve drinks at the close of the proceedings to allow discussions to continue more informally.
