Volunteering

We are committed to developing our people as quality professionals in our field and as caring citizens in our community. In addition to fund-raising, public service appointments and pro bono professional services, we highly encourage our people to provide voluntary service for our local communities. Since 2004, each year Deloitte China has designated at least one day to be IMPACT Day during which our firm contributes our employees as volunteers to help specific local community initiatives. To recognize and show appreciation of and support for any colleagues who are dedicating some of their personal time to serving the local community, Deloitte China has introduced in June 2009 a per diem allowance across the firm as a contribution towards offsetting the expenses which it believes our colleagues are likely to incur in meals and travelling when they engage in voluntary community service during their personal time. |

IMPACT Day

National Green IMPACT Day
Deloitte China colleagues donated items of clothing, books, stationery, toys, computers, and domestic household equipment which they no longer need or want, and which can be recycled and used by those in need in their local communities.
A passion for community service
Besides work, Deloitte China people are also united by a common passion to serve their communities, both representing the firm and in their personal time and personal capacity.
