Our community programmes and activities
Our participation in community programmes stems from a desire to contribute to the sustainable growth and development of the communities in which we live and do business. However, as much as we hope we have made a positive difference, these experiences and the communities with whom we have worked have also contributed to us too and have provided Deloitte China colleagues with many valuable learning experiences which are enriching the personal and professional growth and development of all our people.
Our community programmes are categorized under four main areas. They include:
- Education – to support education for various sectors of the community
- Disaster relief – to provide immediate assistance to victims of natural disasters so that their lives can be better protected and livelihood be restored as soon as possible
- Volunteering – to help those who are in need to make our community stronger
- Supporting sustainable development in China – to facilitate development of rural communities in China
 One of the objectives of Yunnan Village Adoption Program is to provide better schooling facilities for more children |
 Since 2004, Deloitte Tax Championship has been helping students to connect Tax theory with practice |
