Deloitte leading growth among Chilean Auditing and Consulting FirmsAs per figures delivered by the Superintendency of Securities and Insurances |
Deloitte is leading the industry for the second consecutive year with 33% income market share and more than 1,200 employees, followed by PWC with 29%.
During 2008, the four principal auditing and consulting companies, known as the Big Four, recorded income for Ch$ 118,637 millions, in agreement with the Superintendency of Securities and Insurances, exceeding 2007 income in 17%.
In addition, income from audit services grew 15.2% and income from “other services” grew 20.8%. This includes tax and legal advisories, managerial consulting, technological and outsourcing consulting, among others.
Deloitte leads the industry for the second consecutive year, with a market share of 33%, followed by PWC, with 29%. In addition, Deloitte heads Audit income and other services income ranking.
