He started his career with an apprenticeship with one of the large Swiss universal banks and a Zurich based Private Bank. Ross leads our Enterprise Risk Services group in Geneva. He is a chartered accountant and for the past 15 years has specialised in providing assurance over information systems, technology projects and business processes.

Ross has worked in a wide variety of sectors including financial services, consumer business, manufacturing and distribution, telecom, media and technology, property and construction, and for public sector and not-for-profit organisations. Projects have ranged from trading and fund management systems for financial clients to integrated ERP systems for retail and logistics organisations and more general advice on risk management including the management of IT risks, business processes and risk management.

Financial Risk Management

Philipp specializes in risk management and risk quantification and has more than 13 years of international experience as an advisor to global insurers and re-insurers. He has worked at the Federal Office of Private Insurance (FOPI) where he took the lead in the development and implementation of the risk based Solvency Test for the Swiss insurance and reinsurance market (STT). He has also provided research for the CRO Forum. Philipp is an advisor on monetary and capital market issues to the IMF and consults on developing concepts to assess the impact of the insurance market on financial stability and on global financial stability.

David has 15 years of experience in design, validation and development of risk management and reporting systems, in promulgation of sound treasury and risk management practices, and in quantitative modelling at Deloitte as well as with other consultancy firms, at the Bank of Canada, the National Bank of Canada and for the vendor of a fund of hedge funds platform. He is an expert in risk management methodologies and tools for credit risk, counterparty risk, market risk and alternative investments risks, in corporate risk management methodologies, treasury risk management and hedge accounting. Benno Suter is a tax partner who leads the Swiss VAT and Customs group of Deloitte Switzerland. He is a Swiss Certified Tax Expert. In addition, Benno is an experienced member of the VAT Competence Board at the Tax Advisors Chamber of Switzerland. Annemarie Rüegger is a director in tax and leads the team providing services regarding the US qualified intermediary regime. She is a member of the pan-European teams dealing with asset pooling of multinationals and with the EU saving directive. Annemarie started her career in the Swiss private banking industry and has 14 years of tax experience. One of her primary focuses is advising international financial institutions and asset management companies with regard to Swiss regulatory and tax aspects pertaining to the distribution of their financial products in Switzerland.
