Summer 2013 – The return of the feel good factor?
We are pleased to announce the launch of our latest Consumer Products M&A Survey. This is the sixth biannual survey of CEOs, CFOs and M&A directors of leading Consumer Products companies (publicly listed or private UK).
- Results from our latest survey show there has been a strong rebound in confidence levels in both anticipated future M&A activity and the financial prospects for Consumer Products companies more generally.
- Improving consumer confidence, a recovery in corporates attitudes to risk, record cash holdings and the availability of debt have combined to create highly favourable conditions for an upturn in M&A activity.
- Whilst consumers' finances remain under pressure and inflation remains stubbornly above its 2% target, Consumer Products companies have fared significantly better as they have reinforced their balance sheets.
