Our service solutions
Portfolio strategy
Our approach to determining “where to invest” draws on a variety of data sources and market views to model and navigate the complex, changing value landscape. Our first step is to analyse the company’s existing product portfolio to understand the attractiveness of the market segments and the relative competitive position of each product. We assess the market attractiveness using six criteria.
Each market is rated against these criteria. Scores are weighted to reflect the relative importance of each criterion. When combined they provide a relative attractiveness rating for each market. Similarly, we assess the competitive position of each product is assessed using six further criteria. Ratings are given for each product, weighted appropriately and summed to provide us with a rating for relative attractiveness of each product.
