Sahara Energy Ltd.
Sahara Energy Ltd., (the "Company") filed a Notice of Intention to Make a Proposal on March 22, 2010 pursuant to Section 50.4(1) of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act. A copy of the Notice of Intention is found below.
On April 16, 2010, by an application to the Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta, Judicial District of Calgary (the "Court"), the Company filed for an extension to the Stay Period for the Proposal. The application was accepted on April 21, 2010 and the Company has been granted an extension to the Stay Period to June 4, 2010.
Sahara filed its proposal to creditors on June 4, 2010. The meeting of creditors to approve the proposal is scheduled for June 23, 2010 at 2:00 PM. The creditor package is available on this site for download. Any creditor filing a proof of claim can send the completed claim, support, voting letter and proxy, if desired, as outlined in the Trustee's report on the proposal.
