Apex Energy (Canada) Inc. ("Apex" or the "Company") is involved in the exploration, development and production of petroleum and natural gas in Alberta. On October 7, 2008, Deloitte & Touche Inc. was appointed by the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta, Judicial District of Calgary (the “Court”) as Receiver and Manager (the “Receiver”) of all of the current and future assets, undertakings and properties of Apex. Deloitte and Touche Inc., in its capacity as Receiver and Manager of Apex Energy (Canada) Inc. (the “Company”) has engaged Sayer Energy Advisors to assist with the divestiture of all the natural gas and light oil properties held by the Company.
