On August 2, 2011, Deloitte & Touche Inc. was appointed as the Trustee in bankruptcy of the following companies after the proposals filed by the companies with BDO Canada Ltd. were rejected by the creditors at the first meeting of creditors to consider the proposals:

Focused Life Investments Ltd.
Focused Life Investments 2 Ltd.
1323545 Alberta Inc. General Partner Of
Focused Life Settlements 2 Limited Partnership
Focused Money Solutions Inc. and
Focused Money Capital Ltd.
(collectively the “Companies”)
The Companies operated out of Calgary, Alberta and were involved in raising capital from parties to invest in life insurance and life investment policies.

Creditor Information
Any creditors who have not yet filed claims against the Companies are requested to do so. A Proof of Claim form may be printed from the link below. The completed Proof of Claim form along with supporting documentation should be submitted to the Trustee as indicated on the form.
If you have already filed a proof of claim form under the Proposals, you do not need to file another claim under the bankruptcies.
The Trustee takes no position and is not providing any advice with respect to the potential tax consequences related to any creditor/investor claims in the Focused Group and recommends that each individual conduct their own investigation or seek professional assistance.
