Chinese services group

Overview

Deloitte’s Chinese services group offers a complete range of services for global companies investing in China for the first time. We also offer the same services to Chinese companies looking for a “gateway” to the Canadian market, whether they wish to start operations or raise capital in Canada.

We have deep roots in China. Deloitte was the first foreign accounting firm to open an office in Shanghai in 1917. We have almost 11,000 people covering Beijing, Chongqing, Dalian, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Hong Kong SAR, Macau SAR, Nanjing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Suzhou, Tianjin, Wuhan, Xiamen and Taiwan.

Deloitte has been advising the Chinese ministry of finance on the development of accounting standards and tax systems since 1993, and has been a significant contributor to the development of China’s accounting standards (site in Chinese) taxation system and local professional accountants. We also provide services to about one-third of the companies listed on the Hong Kong stock exchange.
