Tan Ong, CA 翁经新 CSG Co-National Leader Partner – Mergers & Acquisitions / International Tax Tan is a partner in our Mergers and acquisitions tax services group in Montreal. He has over 17 years of experience in public accounting, and he serves both Canadian and foreign-based multinational corporations. Tan has a wide range of experience in providing services in such areas as mergers and acquisitions, financing structures and corporate reorganizations. He is responsible for the Chinese Tax Services for Canada and is also the Canadian Chinese Service Group co-leader for Eastern Canada. |
Professional and community affairs
- Tan completed all the advance tax courses on corporate reorganizations and international tax provided by the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (“CICA”). Tan has been tutor of the CICA In-Depth tax course. He was also lecturer of the McGill University undergraduate CA tax program. Tan is a frequent speaker and co-writer on various tax matters.
- He was also involved in Young Chinese Professional Association and the Montreal Chinese Community and Cultural Center.
