2012 represents the first year following the mandatory adoption of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for many entities in Canada. In our series of IFRS quarterly technical updates, we provide you with a summary of recently and soon-to-be-issued IFRSs, the status of select accounting topics and practical reminders regarding specific IFRS requirements as we continue to move forward in an IFRS world.
