Paul is a partner with Deloitte’s Financial Advisory practice. He focuses on insolvency and restructuring, with casework including advisory and recovery services. His experience spans a spectrum of industries including manufacturing, entertainment, aviation and real estate. Paul frequently appears before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice as a court-appointed receiver, interim receiver, liquidator, CCAA monitor and trustee in bankruptcy. As Director and Past President of the Ontario Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals, Paul is a recognized restructuring professional who is called upon to provide evidence in U.S. Bankruptcy Court hearings. His turnaround solutions involve operational changes, divestitures, negotiations with stakeholders, and local and international court proceedings.
