Executives at large organizations today are taking a new look at their global finance operations. Some organizations have not shifted some of their finance activities offshore even though they should. Some may be better by choosing to steer clear.

A multi-faceted issue
Meanwhile, early adopters of finance offshoring are going ahead with expanding their finance globalization energies as they try to find efficiencies. These finance organizations are moving more and more activities offshore and are creating consistent and integrated systems and processes across the global enterprise. This raises many questions.


To understand the different sides of the issue, Deloitte interviewed CFOs and finance leaders in 51 corporations in 15 countries. Together, they represent 10% of Fortune 500 revenues.
