            How were the TMT Predictions developed?

The 2009 series evolved from research-driven discussions with industry analysts, financial institutions, and senior executives from the TMT industry, as well as feedback from senior alumni and input from Deloitte’s 6,000-strong global TMT practice.
          Why should you attend the TMT Predictions?

This year’s predictions cover a variety of trends, including the rise of smart-grid technologies, social networks in the enterprise, free gadgets, discovering meaning in mobile advertising, a rekindled self belief in television, and how to stay clever with smartphones in a downturn — just to name a few.

How geeky is Duncan Stewart? Well, he certainly assumes one of the geekiest roles at Deloitte Canada: Director of Research in the areas of Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT), Life Sciences and GreenTech. Duncan has almost two decades of experience in the TMT industry. He is also a member of Deloitte’s national TMT executive team, and co-author of Deloitte Research’s annual Predictions report on trends in TMT.
