IASeminars is working with Deloitte and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta to provide practical and relevant IFRS information to the Canadian oil and gas sector.
Due to popular demand, we are offering this two-day workshop specifically developed for Canadian publicly accountable entities in the oil and gas sector again in fall 2009. The objective is to assist companies in the sector with the transition from Canadian GAAP to IFRS.

Taught by Deloitte IFRS oil and gas professionals, this two-day immersion workshop for the extractive industries follows on from our one-day Course 1628: IFRS Session for Canadian Oil & Gas Entities. During the workshop, participants will be provided with an opportunity to review and practise the IFRS conversion considerations and guidelines that were covered at the one-day session, using mini case studies, group discussions and in-depth interactive sessions to illustrate important concepts in a practical context to assist with the IFRS implementation.
