The past, present and future of public sector enterprise risk management
government entities have the second highest adoption of enterprise risk management practices (ERM) in Canada. ERM resonates with management and oversight bodies of public-interest organizations because to achieve outcomes, risks need to be properly identified, assessed and managed.
This webcast will deliver an overview of current ERM practices in provinces and territories across Canada, while highlighting best practices and opportunities to further enhance provincial ERM efforts. Providing an in-depth overview of British Columbia’s extensive ERM program, Phil Grewar, Executive Director of the Risk Management branch of the province, will share his perspective on past, present and future ERM program trends.
