Canada’s Top 40 Under 40™ awards program is a great opportunity to acknowledge outstanding individuals and recognize the leaders of tomorrow. That’s why Deloitte is sponsoring this program, which has been celebrating Canada’s leaders of today and tomorrow since 1995. If you know someone who would make a strong candidate for a Top 40 Under 40™ award — whether through personal or professional networks — now is the time to set the ball rolling. Nominations are open until November 30, 2009. Here’s what you need to know to nominate someone:
Who’s eligible?
Nominees must be:
- under 40 years of age as of December 31, 2009
- a Canadian citizen or landed immigrant
- employed in the private, public or not-for-profit sectors
The nominee cannot be an amateur or professional athlete, a musician, an artist or an elected government official.
What are the criteria?
Nominees’ achievements will be measured against five criteria:
- Vision and leadership
- Innovation and achievement
- Impact
- Community involvement and contribution
- Growth/development strategy
How do I nominate someone?
Simply complete the online form on the Canada’s Top 40 Under 40™ web site by November 30, 2009. A nomination kit will be sent to the nominee for completion. Your identity as the nominator will be kept confidential. Winners will be notified in February 2010.
