Our passion for achieving our vision
|For the past three years, we have been proactive about our commitment to diversity. However, when Deloitte was named the Official Professional Services Provider to the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, we recognized that our firm had a significant opportunity to promote key diversity initiatives both inside and outside Deloitte. Our Dialogue on diversity initiative focused on issues facing people in the business world and let to the release of a white paper, Road to Inclusion. We were also recognized as one of the Best Employers for New Canadians for the second straight year.|
Internally, we’ve increased the proportion of new partners and associate partners who were women to 21% overall, while 33% of new partners and associate partners were women. Our passion for diversity is our second report, highlighting our accomplishments over the past year and identifying areas where we will focus our attention in the future.
We’re making progress, but we have much more to do. Our goal is to be the firm of choice for the most coveted clients and people by understanding, respecting and embracing individual similarities and differences. Read this report to understand our roadmap for getting there.
