Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards

Recognizing successful female entrepreneurs across Canada

Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards The 2012 Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards (CWEA) officially launched on March 8, in conjunction with International Women’s Day. Deloitte continues to be a proud sponsor of the awards, a program facilitated by Women of Influence.

The CWEA recognize successful female entrepreneurs from across the country. Winners are selected in six distinct categories, which include Start-Up, Impact, Momentum, Sustainability, Trailblazer and Excellence in Entrepreneurship. It’s simple to nominate a deserving women entrepreneur, so do so today.

Deloitte sponsors the “Start-Up Award,” which honours a recipient who has been in business from three to five years, boasting a comprehensive business plan and a profitable company. This year’s Start-Up Award winner is Jenny Munford, Creative Bube Tube.

Female entrepreneurs are one of the fastest-growing business segments in Canada and we are pleased to celebrate excellence among this incredible group. Through the awards, winners and finalists are able to attain national recognition and develop new networks.
