What is Impact Day? When is Impact Day? |
Who participates?
All of our people are encouraged to participate and they are welcome to bring family and friends. This will be our firm’s eighth straight year participating in Impact Day activities. So far, we’ve established an enviable record of accomplishments:
- 37,297 Deloitte people have participated in Impact Day activities
- Over 1,500 organizations have received support from Deloitte
- We have completed 2,956 projects
What kinds of projects are we involved in?
We’ve been involved in a wide array of projects over the years — our people have painted rooms in children’s centres, cooked meals for community centres, sorted goods at food banks, provided job search advice to new immigrants, cleaned aquariums at the zoo, planted trees in conservation areas, given strategic advice to non-profits — you name it, our people have done it. In most cases, we help facilitate projects that the organizations wouldn’t otherwise have had the time or resources to complete.
Why is Deloitte involved in Impact Day?
Impact Day is one of the ways Deloitte demonstrates that we care about our local communities and that helping others and making an impact is important to us. This day is also a lot of fun and gives us the chance to work with people in a whole new way.
