Tax risks and tax authorities’ claims have a significant impact on business operations, and often the very existence of business in Belarus. This problem is particularly crucial because the Belarusian tax laws are full of gaps and ambiguities and, moreover, are constantly amended. As a result, some officials of the tax authorities often impose unlawful requirements and draw unfaithful conclusions when performing tax audits.
