Many operators currently assessing their procedures, implementing electronic solutions and testing the e-AC4 declaration, either by web application or by B2G solutions, have in the meantime been aligning with the Customs & Excises authorities’ requirements. It appears from our informal contacts that many economic operators are extensively testing their environment in order to be ready by 1 October 2012. Through these contacts, we did not come across any indication to date that the entry into force would be postponed.
