Stefan Van Thienen

Stefan Van Thienen is active in Supply Chain Strategy and performance improvement, and leads the Belgian Deloitte Consulting Supply Chain practice. His focus is on improving business performance in terms of Cost & Profit, and Cash Flow by leveraging state of the art expertise in supply chain, with clear transversal links to other functional area’s in the business such as tax, finance, sales and marketing.
Stefan's industry focus is on businesses for which the supply chain is a critical asset and factor for success: chemicals, manufacturing, CPG, Food & Beverages, Life Sciences, and Distribution.
Stefan holds an MBA in General International Management from the Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School and a Master of Science in Engineering degree, obtained at the Catholic University of Leuven.
Prior to becoming a consultant, Stefan has been active in plant and operations management in the chemical and pulp and paper industries.
