Below is an overview of procurement services we have already offered:

Ad interim procurement services

Our procurement professionals have already performed ad interim procurement services for a major telecom company. We were involved in the procurement process starting from initial request, through preparing and finalising the request for quotation (RFQ), analysing and evaluating bids, up to final contract reviews and awards. Furthermore we also professionalised the procurement process and reporting and introduced some KPI’s.

Contract Management review

Deloitte has assisted in the review of contracts and contract management of a major telecom company. Weaknesses and issues were identified and necessary recommendations to correct and improve the contract management system were provided.

RFQ preparation and contract negotiation

At numerous occasions, we have assisted in the preparation of a request for quotation for facilities and the analysis en evaluation of received bids afterwards.

Cost Reduction

We have performed cost reduction exercises in several small, medium-sized and large companies. Our cost reduction assignments start with an assessment to identify savings potential and with comparing these with our benchmark data, after which we prioritise savings according magnitude and ease of implementation. Finally, for the selected cases we also implement the savings by sending out an RFQ, negotiating, optimising (internal and external) processes, challenge business needs…

Procurement process review and optimisation

We have performed numerous process reviews including reviewing end-to-end procurement process reviews form sourcing to contracting and purchase requests to purchase orders. Our reviews consisted of identification of improvement opportunities, recommendations and implementing our validated recommendations.

For instance, unclear roles and responsibilities in the procurement process can be considered a general weakness; a possible recommendation could be to incorporate clear roles and responsibilities by defining categories per contract/order according to certain business criteria and include SLA’s per category.
