As alluded to previously, Deloitte has in conjunction with Taylor Wessing LLP and GBI Research, released the European Wind Services Study: Find out which way the wind blows. The study, which surveyed 175 industry participants, found that, with installed wind capacities steadily increasing, the demand for service and maintenance has also constantly risen.
The European wind services market is expected to reach €4.5 billion in 2020 from €2.3 billion in 2011. These solid growth prospects, a fragmented field of service providers, and international growth prospects should present interesting buy-and-build strategies for financial investors.
