Web application developed for mutual recognition decision between AEO and C-TPAT
With the mutual recognition of the European Authorised Economic Operator program (hereafter referred to as AEO) and the United States Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism program (hereafter referred to as C-TPAT), it was necessary to develop a matching procedure for customs. The purpose of this mutual recognition is to prevent the proliferation of incompatible standards and to promote harmonisation of customs practices and procedures all around the world. Furthermore, customs security and safety as well as the facilitation of the international trade supply chain can be further enhanced through the mutual recognition of AEO and C-TPAT.
