As of 2013: Refund of the deposit for the import VAT deferral license - Form published

Last July, the Council of Ministers agreed that the license for the deferral of import VAT payment will no longer require a deposit.

This license is often used by import companies to prevent cash flow pre-financing. The payment and the deduction of import VAT is reported through the same periodical VAT return and therefore mitigates any cash impact.
