Eligibility criteria

Deloitte Technology Fast50 2012
The registration for the Deloitte Technology Fast50 will start on April 12. If you register with the ‘Deloitte Fast50 Benelux’ LinkedIn group, we will keep you posted on information about the programme.

Eligibility criteria Deloitte Technology Fast50 Benelux
Has your company existed for more than five years, is its head office based in the Benelux and have you developed a proprietary technology? Then you may enter the Deloitte Technology Fast50 Benelux. Your company is a technology company based on the following criteria:

  • You develop a proprietary technology with a significant contribution to the revenue. Using or selling another company’s technology is contrary to the criteria for entering the Deloitte Technology Fast50 Benelux.
  • You develop a technology related product or service.
  • You devote considerable attention to Research & Development.
  • You are established in the Benelux, as is your head office.
  • If you are employed at a subsidiary or a division, you are - regrettably – barred from entering the Technology Fast50 Benelux, unless the subsidiary is partly listed on a stock exchange and is separately traded.
    If your head office is based within the EMEA territory but not in the Benelux, you may enter the Technology Fast500 election.
  • Your company’s revenue was at least EUR 50,000 in 2006, and at least EUR 800,000 in 2010. You will have to provide access to the annual accounts over this period. They will, of course, be treated confidentially.
  • Your company has existed for more than five years.

The Technology Fast50 process

  • The first step you take is to register, upon which you will have to provide the information requested.
  • Deloitte will screen this information based on the criteria – you will receive a questionnaire if you fulfil the basic criteria.
  • You will be requested to complete the questionnaire and provide the appendices requested (annual accounts past 5 years).
  • Deloitte Accountants will peruse the accounts. They may contact you if anything is unclear.
  • The following formula (y-y-5)/(y-5) will be applied to the net annual revenue.
  • Your company will be ranked according to the revenue growth percentage over the period of 5 years.
  • The 50 nominees will first be announced.
  • The order and, hence, the nos. 1, 2 and 3, will be announced during the gala.
