Cycling for "Fondation contre le Cancer/Stichting tegen Kanker"
After Lourdes in 2006, Mont Ventoux in 2008, and Alpe d’Huez in 2010, the Deloitte Belgium Partners Cycling Event 2012 is heading to Southern Andalucia (Spain).
The plan is to cover approximately 1,000 kilometres in 7 days on our bicycles. On day 4 we have an extra challenge which this year will be a special programme in Granada, including a climb to the Alhambra as one of the ‘highlights’.
We will fly to Almeria on 12 May, start cycling on 13 May, and fly back to Brussels on 19 May. In total 17 partners have decided to join this adventure. For some, it will be their fourth participation, for others their first.
We hope that yet again this year friends, colleagues and relatives will sponsor us generously. In memoriam of Ilse Govaert, who passed away on 1 December 2011, the Deloitte Cycling Partners will donate all funds collected to Fondation contre le Cancer / Stichting tegen Kanker .
We intend to keep the ‘home front’ updated through our daily blog below. We hope Rony will star as our daily reporter again.
This trip promises to be exceptional: friendship, fun and sports in combination with business talks will be the ingredients of an unforgettable cocktail …
