Welcome to Deloitte Belgium’s third annual activity report. The report is an important part of our commitment to transparent communication with our various stakeholders.
In this edition we look back on an exceptionally successful year. We also examine the prospects for 2009. Despite the uncertain business outlook, we at Deloitte remain positive, with a strong focus on helping organisations cope with today’s challenges and emerge in a strong position as the economic cycle turns.
As Belgium’s largest professional services provider, our services continue to be in high demand; we are on track to realise higher revenues in financial year 2009 than 2008. And, as a people business, we will continue to devote our energies to attracting and retaining the best talent.
Thus we approach this year with a healthy balance of prudence and optimism. Recognising and facing challenges head-on, with a “can-do” spirit and an eye to the future, is crucial to our vision of becoming the standard of excellence.
