The Carbon Education Toolkit (CET) was developed to:
The CET comprises (password from the members section of the YPO-WPO website is required for the model and manual):
The CET was developed as part of a joint initiative between the YPO-WPO and Deloitte. It was developed primarily for YPO-WPO members who are running organisations that are beginning their journey in carbon measurement. As such, the CET is designed to assist those who wish to understand fundamental principles in reporting boundaries, operations that organisation are accountable for, and the types of data required. The output of the CET is an indicative GHG inventory only and will not represent a comprehensive GHG inventory for your organisation. For a comprehensive GHG inventory for your organisation taking into account your particular geography and operations please engage with your local GHG expert. As the CET is designed to educate and provide a simplified process it is not designed for complex industrial processes, energy generation, mining and agricultural organisations as these activities require specialist and highly complex calculations.
To make the most of this learning experience, the model should be completed as comprehensively as possible. The majority of data can generally be found in documents, invoices, bills, and metre readings.
The CET was developed by Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, Australia, a member firm of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited. No other member firm of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited has any responsibility for the CET.
