Matt is the National Lead Partner of Deloitte’s national Risk Consulting practice, a team of four partners and 30 risk consultants across Australia providing technical and innovative risk solutions to large private and public clients.
Deloitte’s national Risk Consulting team provides value-add risk consulting solutions in areas including:
- Enterprise Risk Management,
- Financial Risk Consulting,
- Risk and Governance (GRC)
- Risk Analytics.
Matt’s areas of specialisation include consulting on risk to the global energy and resource industry. Matt is increasingly involved in assisting Boards of Directors and Senior Executives to design and implement contemporary best practice enterprise risk management frameworks, solve complex corporate governance issues and, more recently, has been increasingly involved in assisting organisations manage the risk around environmental policy changes and the resulting compliance requirements.
Matt is Deloitte’s lead risk consultant to a number of major national and international companies with prior experience spanning across industry, governments and regulators. Matt has previously consulted to organisations spanning the spectrum of the energy and resource sector, including mining, oil and gas and utilities. Additionally, Matt has advised governments on key energy industry reforms and regulations.
