On 23 August 2011, John Greig and Richard Hughes were appointed Joint and Several Administrators of Meridien AB Pty Ltd and Meridien Airlie Beach Pty Ltd (“the Companies”) pursuant to Section 436C of the Corporations Act 2001 (“the Act”). On the same day, Peter Anderson, William Harris and John Cronin of McGrathNicol were appointed Joint and Several Receivers and Managers of the Company. The Receivers have control of the assets and undertaking of the Companies. On 2 September 2011, the Administrators held a meeting of creditors of the Companies in accordance with section 436E of the Act. At this meeting, our appointment as Joint and Several Administrators was confirmed. A committee of creditors was not appointed. |
