Background information 

The Kleenmaid Group is a retail whitegoods business with nationwide sales through Group owned and franchise stores. There are 14 companies within the Kleenmaid Group with the head office located on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland.

The Kleenmaid Group was placed into liquidation on Monday 25th May. The Liquidators, John Greig, Richard Hughes and David Lombe are in control of the Group.

Kleenmaid operations are now closed and ASIC is pursuing the directors for insolvent trading.

The Group has over $102m in liabilities and there is very little chance of a dividend to unsecured creditors.
