Colorado Group is a leading national footwear and apparel retailer and wholesaler with more than 430 stores in Australia and New Zealand operating under the divisions of Colorado, Mathers, Williams, diana ferrari, Jag, and Pairs. The directors of Colorado Group Ltd have appointed partners of Deloitte Corporate Reorganisation Group, Sal Algeri, Tim Norman and David Lombe as joint administrators on 30 March 2011. James Stewart, Will Colwell and Brendan Richards of Ferrier Hodgson were also appointed Receivers and Managers over some of the Colorado Group companies. At a meeting of creditors held on 22 March 2012, it was resolved that Colorado Group Sourcing Pty Ltd (Administrators Appointed) (Receivers and Managers Appointed) execute a Deed of Company Arrangement (DOCA). At 5.00pm the same day, the DOCA was effectuated and terminated and a Creditors’ Trust was established. Consequently, Colorado Group Sourcing Pty Ltd is no longer subject to any form of external administration in Australia. At a meeting of creditors held on 10 August 2012 creditors resolved that the following companies within the group be wound up and Salvatore Algeri and Simon Wallace-Smith were appointed Liquidators of these companies on that day:
